The non- emergency number to call the police is now 101. This should be much easier to remember than the 0845 090 1234 which will still run alongside for 6 months. It will also be cheaper to dial 101 which will cost 15p per call no matter how long it lasts and applies to both mobiles and landlines. Your local PCSO, Ken Bennett can also be contacted using the 101 number. In an emergency you should still dial 999 |
