The non- emergency number to call the police is now 101. This should be much easier to remember than the 0845 090 1234 which will still run alongside for 6 months. It will also be cheaper to dial 101 which will cost 15p per call no matter how long it lasts and applies to both mobiles and landlines.

Your local PCSO, Ken Bennett can also be contacted using the 101 number.

In an emergency you should still dial 999

Dear All,

Please see the attached poster and feel free to forward to friends/neighbours/family/colleagues. You may be aware of the recent press highlighting the current problem with burglaries in Cheltenham. Gloucestershire Constabulary are currently running an operation across the whole town to encourage people to improve their home and office security and to report anything suspicious they see and hear, however insignificant they may think it is, stressing the importance of ringing the police at the time.

We are attempting to reach as large a number of people as possible with our message so please feel free to print this poster out and put up at places of work.
