Parish Resources Committee

Welcome to the Resources Committee

The Resources Committee’s most important task is to consider the various financial demands on the Parish Council and each year recommend the level of precept that the Parish Council will need to levy in order to meet its needs.

The Committee receives bids from the key spending committees of the Parish Council and takes a view on how the bid fits in with the Parish Council’s priorities and adjudicates how much can be afforded in the coming year. It also takes a view on staffing and office issues as well as recommending release of funding by way of grants to charitable organisations.
